Our family visit to the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren with our tour guide, Menno, was a highlight of our trip to the Netherlands. Not only was he very friendly, but he was also informative and answered every question we had. The tour was very enjoyable, It made the trip to Amersfoort very worthwhile! We wish we could spend more time there.

Op 12 september 346 treden beklommen van de Onze Lieve Vrouwe Toren met gids Menno. Wat een enthousiaste gids die veel wetenswaardigheden weet te vertellen over de Toren en de omgeving. Een top gids!

Zeker een aanrader als je in amersfoort bent! Wij hebben de toren in het donker beklommen, maar willen dit ook nog eens met zonsopgang/ ondergang doen. Dit is ook een tour die Menno aanbied!

About Me

I’m Menno, 40 years old and living and loving the city of Amersfoort.

After 15+ years of working in the field of sales I wanted to do something else.

In the summer of 2025 I started working as a guide in the  Onze Lieve Vrouwe-churchtower and concentration camp Kamp Amersfoort.
I’m planning on creating and offering new tours in and around the Amersfoort area.

I have made it my goal to let people see the real Netherlands on a personal, eco-friendly and storytelling basis and share my passion for this great country.

With a passion for history (especially WWII), I will offer small group tours. Away from the masses, close to the authentic Dutch way of living.
